I expect we will see more stories like this one in the very near future. The left-wing media have churned out some Top ranking veteran news anchor Kari Lake threw in the towel in a very public way. She didn’t just quit her job at Pheonix’s Fox 10. She left the media field completely. One that she served for over 22 years.
Her decision was simple. Lake says she wasn’t proud to be in the media anymore, pushing half-truths or flat-out lies for the left.
“In the last few years, I haven’t felt proud to be a member of the media. I’m sure there are other journalists out there who feel the same way,” she said in the video. “I found myself reading news copy that I didn’t believe was fully truthful, or only told part of the story, and I began to fear that I was contributing to the fear and division in this country by continuing on in this profession. It’s been a serious struggle for me and I no longer want to do this job anymore.”
“The media needs more balance in coverage and a wider range of viewpoints represented in every newsroom at every level and at each position,” she says in the 2-and-a-half-minute video. “In the last few years, I haven’t felt proud to be a member of the media. I’m sure there are other journalists out there who feel the same way.”
Lake said that while completely leaving her career is scary she knows she’s doing the right thing. Adding that she plans to lean on her faith and let God open the next opportunity for her.

Back in 2019, Lake dropped an f-bomb on camera after her bosses asked her to hide her account on a right-wing social media platform, according to a video published by FTV Live.
Lake’s co-host said that the managers weren’t going to like her personal choices and specifically said that they would be concerned over bad press coverage the outlet could receive from New Times, another Arizona outlet.
“F*ck them. They’re 20-year-old dopes,” Lake said of New Times. “That’s a rag for selling marijuana ads.”
