These people who are willing to stand up for others and fend off bullies will restore faith in humanity.
Bullying is a very serious issue, prevalent all over the world. Everyone from young kids to elderly citizens has fallen victim to it. Many have even lost their lives. However, not much has been done to get rid of it. There are some organizations working against bullying, but unless each and every individual stands up against it, positive results will surely be hard to come by.
After Keaton Jones’ thoughts about bullying went viral, YouTuber Matthew Bandeira decided to conduct a social experiment revolving around the topic with a little help from his friends.
In the video, Bandeira revealed that 28 percent of students from ages 12 to 18 say they are bullied at school. Additionally, 160,000 children avoid attending classes because they fear bullies and being intimidated.

Joined by a group of three older boys and one younger boy with a ball and a backpack, Matthew set up his various social experiment scenarios.
What he did was gather a bunch of three older kids, and one younger one. They would be playing with a soccer ball outdoors and the idea was to pit the three “bullies” against the smaller boy. They would steal the ball from him and they would be hanging out in the back to see what people’s reaction would be. He didn’t have any expectations, it was something he needed to see.
So, the young boy was minding his own business. He is sitting on a bench and is carrying a backpack. He also has a soccer ball next to him. Then, the bullies come, and …watch the video below about what happens next.
According to experts, bullying others might be a sign that the child is in serious distress or they’re being abused at home. The bully might be experiencing anxiety or depression, and they’ve got all this pinned-up anger inside.
The bully doesn’t have any healthy coping mechanisms to handle these feelings, so they resort to bullying others. After all, it’s a lot easier to bully a person than to work out their inner turmoil and learn to solve problems.
Below is another experiment involving girl bullies, watch the strangers’ reactions to the bullies:
According to AWM, the statistic “70.6 percent of students say they have seen bullying in their schools” appears on the screen, with the text going on to explain that they had filmed a boy being bullied and this time, wanted to see what the reaction would be if a girl was being bullied.
