An angry mother took her anger into the kitchen after her toddler was pecked in the face by her pet rooster, HeiHei. And I think most moms would do this. There should be no choice to make, it is always your kid’s safety first.
Magan Schmidt drew a lot of controversies when she proudly admitted that she killed her pet rooster and turned it into nuggets after it pecked her daughter’s face.
Schmidt posted a picture of some frying chicken pieces with the caption:
“Well, it finally happened. Our mean ole backyard rooster, HeiHei, attacked the baby child!! We were so lucky that he didn’t do any more damage than he did. Half an inch, and she would have lost an eye”.

The furious mother concluded her viral Facebook post with an emoji of a chicken. She also included images from her kitchen in which she shows her frying pan as she cooks the HeiHei nuggets in oil.
The mother has removed the original post, but a Magan Schmidt fan page account showed photos of her kid with bleeding pecks to the forehead, neck, and cheek. There are also photos of the child standing next to the rooster before the accident and another photo of chicken nuggets probably made of HeiHei.
The mother was glad that the injuries were only minor.
Facebook users are divided on whether HeiHei deserved the reported death sentence. Several commenters criticized Schmidt’s opening line and slammed her parenting skills. While others commended mama’s action to protect the kid. While others found humor in the incident.
“I know people eat chickens all the time, but killing it specifically because it attacked your child doesn’t sit right with me when children are known to antagonize animals,” wrote one user.
“Giant breaks into your house and starts messing up everything, and then you get put down and eaten for defending yourself. I’ve seen how kids treat animals, and there’s no way the rooster’s attack wasn’t justified,” wrote another.
