The undocumented immigrant, who had been given lenient treatment by Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and released into the United States via the southern border, now faces severe charges for the horrific assault on a teenage girl in Alabama. The accused, Grevi Geovani Rivera Zavala, a 29-year-old Honduran illegal immigrant, was detained last week and charged with the gruesome first-degree rape of a teenager, as reported by WSFA. The ghastly incident unraveled on a Saturday evening at a restaurant on Cobbs Ford Road. As per the deposition, the girl reported to the police that Zavala dragged her into a women’s bathroom stall, forcefully held her down, and committed the rape.
This horrific event has led to a significant backlash against Biden’s administration and its lax immigration policies, which critics argue have compromised border security and failed to tackle the severe issue of criminal illegal immigrants effectively. As Breitbart reports, “This rape never should have happened,” according to Autauga County District Attorney CJ Robinson during a discussion with local media about the incident. Robinson pointed out that Zavala, who used a fraudulent name to enter the southern border in November 2021, was an illegal immigrant with a criminal record in Honduras. Regardless of his criminal history, Zavala was detained, processed, and swiftly released into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS, only to surface in Prattville, Alabama, and work unlawfully in the local construction industry.
Robinson maintained a firm stance about Zavala’s custody, stating, “We’re not interested in negotiating with the feds.” He continued to assert that Zavala’s body could be taken into federal custody only once the Department of Corrections has finished with him. He vehemently dismissed any negotiations for a reduced charge that might lead to Zavala’s deportation by federal authorities. As of now, Zavala is held in the Autauga County Jail without bail.
In the wake of the incident, on Thursday, Greene introduced articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden for his inability to fortify our border and ensure national security. Greene stated during a press conference, “Joe Biden has deliberately compromised our national security by refusing to enforce immigration laws and secure our border.”
She went on to accuse Biden of permitting nearly 6 million illegal immigrants from over 170 countries to infiltrate our nation, depriving border patrol of essential resources, and disregarding the maintenance of operational control as mandated by law. She lambasted Biden for allowing fentanyl, a deadly substance responsible for countless American deaths aged between 18 and 45, to pour into our country, causing the tragic loss of approximately 300 American lives daily.
