Liberals are all about the separation of Church and State. They can’t stand that people have faith or would believe in a higher power. So it only makes sense that a teacher in a Mississippi school would single out a 9-year-old girl for her belief in Christ. The little girl was not soapboxing or spreading the good word through pamphlets. No, she was simply wearing a mask that read: “Jesus Loves Me.” But I am sure BLM, Defund The Police, or Biden/Harris mask would have been more than welcome…
“On Monday, her parents, Matthew and Jennifer Booth, filed a federal lawsuit alleging religious discrimination.
The lawsuit notes that the school’s “Religious Speech Policy prohibits messages on masks that are ‘political, religious, sexual or inappropriate symbols, gestures or statements that may be offensive, disruptive or deemed distractive to the school environment.”
The lawsuit states that the censorship of the student’s religious message, and the “Religious Speech Policy and practice on which that censorship is based, violate the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.”
On October 8, the Booth’s daughter, Lydia, wore the mask to Simpson Central School. During a computer class, the teacher told her she could not wear a mask with words on it but did not instruct her to remove it, the lawsuit alleges. When Lydia informed her mother Jennifer, Jennifer was confused because Lydia had worn the mask before without any problem and had seen other students with masks that had words on them, according to the lawsuit. Jennifer then researched whether the school’s policy barred masks with words.”
Jennifer Booth looked into it and could not find any School policy that prevented her child from wearing a “Jesus loves me” mask and was dumbfounded that it was an issue since Lydia had worn it before without issue. But Jesus is triggering for some libs. He teaches turning the cheek and actual tolerance, which seem to be foreign concepts to many Libs. But the real problem here is that LIbs are not happy with her pro-Christian message, in fact, the lawsuit states that other students DID wear BLM masks and didn’t receive the same treatment.
