Police Union Boss Calls Out Defund Police Movement, Just Look At What They Did.

The Defund the Police movement has caused turmoil across the country. Turns out police officers deter crime who would have thought… But these Dem led cities wanted to be “woke” instead of smart so they pandered to the Defund the Police movement cutting police budgets. So now they are reaping the consequence with skyrocketing crime rates. In Chicago, they are now seeing historic levels of homicide.

Chicago  Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara spoke out against the Defund the Police Movement and the crime it has caused.

“We’re over 700 homicides by gun in Chicago this year and close to 800 total homicides for the year. It’s reaching historic levels, and this when the city council and the mayor’s budget just cut over 600 jobs from the police department’s budget when crime is soaring. It’s ridiculous.”

“Literally, just two days ago, we had a kid who just turned 13-years-old go into the store to get batteries for a Christmas toy at 9 am in one of the peacefullest parts of the city, who was gunned down,” he added.

Catanzara then went after the local government for pandering to the Defund the Police movement.

“If the goal is to have a lawless, non-police society, mission accomplished,” he added. “Because the politicians in this city and state are actually falling for it.”

Crime is skyrocketing in nearly every city that decided to buckle to the “Defund the Police” movement. Sadly Americans across the nation are now suffering because their leaders decided to listen to the foolish defund the police movement. The movement did nothing it set out to do. The protesters were upset about the George Floyd incident and decided to attack police officers in general. But instead of demanding better training, they thought to defund the police, which actually cuts back on training and prevents residents from getting the aid they need as fast.  So all the Defund the Police/BLM really accomplished is an increase in crime and a decrease in the chances that everyone will be helped when they need it.
