Ohioan Bakery owner, Kelly Kandah, has had a tough year. Her bakery, Colossal Cupcakes was looted while she and her employees his in a locked bathroom. Kandah of course wants to rebuild her bakery and has been working with the police to find out who the culprits were that ransacked her bakery. But I guess the looters don’t like that as they have been in communication with and let her know that since she is working with the police, she will be targeted again once she rebuilds.
She recounted her terrifying experience:
“They started throwing bricks and tools at me and one of the people leaped towards me so I ran into the back and locked myself with the staff into the bathroom,” said Kandah. Kandah said the shop is unrecognizable. “There’s smoke damage, there’s wall damage, everything that’s glass in here is gone doors, windows, & fixtures,” she added. Kandah doesn’t know when she’ll be able to open back again. She said she has insurance but it will not cover everything.”
The bakery has been in Kandah’s family for 10 years.
On Monday, Kandah told “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that the week after her store was destroyed, “I was showing some of the damage and I was leaving, a friend and myself, and someone walking by approached us and said, ‘When the store rebuilds, when you rebuild this, I’m going to come back and destroy it again and you.’ He kept walking and was gone.”

When asked how she feels about people being critical of her for calling the police she had the following to say.
“It’s just really sad,” Kandah said in response. “Unfortunately my store is not open right now and I’m so involved with the community and I’m so involved with our inner-city schools and I’m so for the cause that I do a lot of community service. Right now, I can’t. I don’t have anything being brought in to be able to donate as much as I usually do.”
This is just despicable there is no reason to attack a bakery or anything. Peaceful protesters should be encouraging that she call the police. This is another prime example of just how stupid the defund the police movement is.
Can’t believe she even wants to stay in such an area or even try and help the community as it is obvious they don’t give a damn about her. She is putting her life in danger and if she does stay will always live in fear.
I think if it were me, I would be opening my business some place else. Where it is appreciated. Not where she is going to be threatened and her business destroyed AGAIN.
Take your insurance money & run, Kelly. As fast as your feet can carry you. Go to a place that is sane &, if you want, open your business there & then snub your nose at the criminals & thugs residing in your past neighborhood. Either that, or rebuild where you are but be sure to take plenty of range time & learn to shoot. That will be the only way you might save your new business & you still have to worry that the idiots running your Leftist town might lock you up for exercising your Constitutional rights to self defense & defending your new business. I would leave. I did 50 years ago & have never looked back as I’ve lived my life in a succession of small but sane mid western towns.
