The election is about a month away now and there is all sorts of speculation as to how the Dems are planning to use mail-in ballots to their advantage. The polls are showing Biden in the lead, which is a scary thought in itself, but that is not stopping Dems from getting ready to cook the books. Massachusetts is working that gray zone hard as they are now claiming that they will be accepting the mail-in ballots from Americans even if they die before the election. So in Massachusetts, the dead are being given a voice in this upcoming election.
“Massachusetts Secretary of State Bill Galvin said Monday that if someone votes early in the November election but dies before Election Day, their vote will be counted.
That’s a change from earlier voting rules that became necessary because of the coronavirus pandemic.
In the past, if you voted early, died and elections officials discovered you were dead before Election Day, your vote would not be counted.
The early voting by mail period for absentee ballots is usually ten days in Massachusetts, but that’s now expanded by 20 additional days for this November.”
“This new rule isn’t being described as permanent. It will only be in place as long as the pandemic continues to require social distancing. Of course, the way things are going at the moment that may wind up being a permanent condition.”
This sounds fine as it likely is not going to make a huge difference in a true blue state like Massachusetts. But if this kind of ruling were to be allowed in highly contended states it would raise a lot of questions. We have all seen how the Dems rigged their own primary back in 2016 to give Hillary the win. So if they were given the opportunity in a purple state to let the dead vote it would likely come out that the great-great-grandparents of liberals that have long since passed suddenly came back from the dead to vote Biden.
