Lib Health Experts: Grandma Shouldn’t Get The Vaccine Because She Is White

This is just nuts. Libs need to keep their white shame to themselves and do what is right as opposed to pandering to such an extreme to minorities. Libs always claim they are about diversity and how everyone should be equal but then whenever they get the chance they hate on white people. This is another clear example. Everyone seems to be in agreement that first responders should get priority on this vaccine but now some health experts are saying that the elderly who are at the highest risk of dying from this virus should now be practically abandoned. Their reasoning is not because the elderly are suddenly any better off.  No, it’s because there is a high population of white people among the elderly. So somehow it’s wrong to treat them now because white people are in danger…

Harald Schmidt, an expert in ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania, said that it is reasonable to put essential workers ahead of older adults, given their risks, and that they are disproportionately minorities. “Older populations are whiter,” Dr. Schmidt said. “Society is structured in a way that enables them to live longer. Instead of giving additional health benefits to those who already had more of them, we can start to level the playing field a bit.”

So experts instead want essential workers to get priority since they are more “diverse” aka less white.

To me the issue of ethics is very significant, very important for this country,” Dr. Peter Szilagyi, a committee member and a pediatrics professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, said at the time, “and clearly favors the essential worker group because of the high proportion of minority, low-income and low-education workers among essential workers.”

Some experts even claim that teachers are too white to be included as essential workers.

Marc Lipsitch, an infectious-disease epidemiologist at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, argued that teachers should not be included as essential workers, if a central goal of the committee is to reduce health inequities. “Teachers have middle-class salaries, are very often white, and they have college degrees,” he said. “Of course they should be treated better, but they are not among the most mistreated of workers.”

We should be helping all Americans especially those at the highest risk of dying from this virus, regardless of their skin color. The elderly and first responders come into contact with this virus the most, so guess what, we should give them the priority. It’s that simple. These “experts” need to stop trying to complicate things by bringing race into it.
