You read that right. The title is no a joke or a play on words. During a rally in Kenosha, Wisconsin and activist declared that black people need to kill a white person every time a black person is killed. “We ain’t never did nothing to nobody”, the speaker declared.
Kenosha Wisconsin has become another rioting nightmare for residence following the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake. Blake, 29, had a current warrant out for his arrest involving a sexual assault case. The warrant is not what brought police to the scene on the day of the shooting. There was a domestic disturbance complaint and cellphone video footage of the incident shows Blake resisting arrest and reaching inside of a vehicle.
The Kenosha police union on Friday offered the most detailed accounting to date on officers’ perspective of the moments leading up to police shooting Jacob Blake seven times in the back, saying he had a knife and fought with officers, putting one of them in a headlock and shrugging off two attempts to stun him:
The statement from Brendan Matthews, attorney for the Kenosha Professional Police Association, goes into more detail than anything that’s been released by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, which is investigating.
According to Matthews, the officers were dispatched there because of a complaint that Blake was attempting to steal the caller’s keys and vehicle. Matthews said officers were aware that Blake had an open warrant for felony sexual assault before they arrived.
Blake was armed with a knife, but officers did not initially see it, Matthews said.
“The officers first saw him holding the knife while they were on the passenger side of the vehicle,” he said.
The bystander who recorded the shooting, 22-year-old Raysean White, said he saw Blake scuffling with three officers and heard them yell, “Drop the knife! Drop the knife!” before gunfire erupted. He said he didn’t see a knife in Blake’s hands. State investigators have said only that officers saw a knife on the floor of the car. They have not said whether Blake threatened anyone with it.
During the rally the unnamed speaker cried and ‘eye for an eye’ in an impassioned speech he gave to a cheering crowd:
“I love being black. I love black people. I know some of you may not want to say that,” the man said, according to the Kenosha News. “You tell us how to behave when you have taken our lives. The black man is worth something. His life is worth something.”
“I have to say god d**n it — if you kill one of us, it’s time for us to kill one of yours,” the activist went on to say. “I know everybody don’t want to hear that. But d**n why are we the ones who have to keep burying ours and got to keep clean for you to see us as being human? We ain’t never did nothing to nobody.”

Reports show that Blake survived the altercation with police but was left paralyzed because one of the bullets severed his spinal cord. Blakes own mother condemned the violence that broke out in Kenosha following her son’s shooting and stressed that the violence does not reflect her family.
