Heads Are Going To Roll: Fmr Defense Sec Claims Biden Admin Allowed Kabul Bombing

This is one of those things that if true, could have some serious ramifications for the Biden Administration. We all heard about the suicide bombing in Kabul that took the lives of 13 of our finest marines. It was tragic and wouldn’t have happened if we had better leadership in the White House. But according to Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Roger Pardo-Maurer, it’s worse than that. The bombing shouldn’t have happened at all since Pardo-Maurer claims we had a lock on the bomber with one of our drones and for some reason they let the bomber go.

Univision aired a bombshell allegation in the midst of its coverage of the United States’ disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. Per former Army Green Beret and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Roger Pardo-Maurer, the Department of Defense had knowledge of the homicide bomber at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, and scrambled a Predator drone only to order it to stand down as it locked on its target. Per Pardo-Maurer, the stand-down order was given in deference to negotiations with the Taliban.”

“What is being said by people who were involved is that the Department of Defense already knew who the bomber was, and when (the Kabul bombing would happen) and that a predator drone had a lock on him. Ok… and that they refused to grant permission to fire upon that bomber. (Permission) was requested and denied. Why? Because we are in this process of negotiating with the Taliban, who aren’t even in control of their own government or their own people.”

If this is true Biden has some explaining to do. At least 100 people died in that bombing, including 13 Americans, and if we had a lock on the bomber then someone messed up big time by not taking the shot.

Update 9/2:

“Pentagon spokesman John Kirby on Monday slammed an “unlawful” leak to Politico revealing that the deaths of US troops in last week’s Kabul airport bombing could have been averted, as the Pentagon was aware hours in advance of an imminent “mass casualty” attack.”

“I am absolutely not going to speak to a press story that was informed by the unlawful disclosure of classified information and sensitive deliberations here at the Pentagon — just not going to do it,” Kirby said.”

So they knew and they let it happen…
