Gov Karen Sends The Police After A Small Business Owner

Times are tough for small business owners. This pandemic seems to be dragging on and now with reports that COVID is surging many blue states are bringing back lockdown-like orders. So Liberals are once again suffocating small businesses with the latest round of restrictions. But a New York Bar is trying to beat Liberals at their own game and has been declaring himself an Autonomous Zone like the CHAZ in Seattle. But for some reason Dem leaders are not backing off as they did in Seattle, instead, they have been fining the Bar owner and have now even arrested him. I bet he would have been left alone had it been a liberal protest…

The co-owner of a Staten Island bar who officials say has continued to defy New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s coronavirus restrictions was arrested early Sunday for the second time in less than a week after allegedly hitting a deputy with his car, authorities said.

Danny Presti was trying to leave his bar, Mac’s Public House, after deputies observed patrons entering the establishment Saturday night in violation of city and state closure orders, New York City Sheriff Joseph Fucito said.

When deputies tried to arrest the 34-year-old bar owner, he got into his car and drove off, striking a deputy, Fucito said. Presti continued driving for about 100 yards with the deputy hanging onto the hood before he was stopped and apprehended, the sheriff said.

Charges against Presti were pending.

The injured deputy was taken to a hospital for treatment, though his condition wasn’t immediately available.

Presti’s attorney, Lou Gelormino “..hopes to have Presti out by noon on Sunday.”

Presti should have immediately followed the orders of the police. But it’s odd that they were even called. I thought Liberals just back off and let protesters do as they wish now. Or is that only BLM, anti-police activists, and anarchists that get a pass?
