A new bombshell report sheds light on possible bribes received by FBI and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents (ICE) may have taken in return from ‘protection’ and for allegedly ‘cooking the books’. This new information stems from court hearings where a man admits he was a willing accomplice.
Washington Times broke the story. Here is what they had to say:
“A Los Angeles-area lawyer bribed agents from the FBI and ICE to provide “protection,” for him, with one scouring law enforcement databases to warn him of ongoing investigations, while the other cooked the books to help a client and a relative with immigration matters, according to a plea agreement filed in federal court this week.
Edgar Sargsyan, the 39-year-old lawyer, also admitted he and an accomplice also took out credit cards in the names of foreigners who’d come to the U.S. on travel visas, then charged hundreds of thousands of dollars to their accounts.
He agreed to plead guilty to five felony counts ranging from conspiracy to commit bank fraud to bribing a public official to lying to investigators.”
According to CBS Los Angeles In a plea agreement filed in Los Angeles federal court, Sargsyan admitted to paying tens of thousands of dollars between 2015-2017 to a special agent with Homeland Security Investigations and a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Sargsyan paid the HSI agent at least $32,000 in checks and at least $45,000 in cash in return for assistance that included the HSI agent searching law enforcement databases to obtain information that he then passed to Sargsyan, according to the document.
According to court documents, the HSI agent also altered a United States Department of Homeland Security database to make it “more likely” that a client of Sargsyan’s law firm, who was a foreign national, would be allowed to enter the country.
Wow… Talk about a security breach.
ICE also weighed in on the matter, writing:
“Sargsyan also agreed to plead guilty to two counts of making false statements to federal investigators. These charges stem from interviews in September 2017 by the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General, when Sargsyan falsely stated that the $30,000 check to the FBI agent was a loan, and in December 2018, when he falsely told special agents with the FBI and HSI that he did not pay bribes to the FBI agent.
In his plea agreement, Sargsyan also admitted he participated in a conspiracy that defrauded financial institutions by fraudulently obtaining credit cards in the names of aliens who had previously been in the United States on J1 visitor visas. Once the credit cards were issued by the financial institutions, Sargsyan and his co-conspirator charged purchases, including more than $941,000 that Sargsyan personally charged at two businesses he controlled, Pillar Law Group and Regdalin Group.”
Sargsyan has been directed to make his initial court appearance, in this case, on June 9.
Robert Müeller, Jim Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Rob Rosenstein, and Andrew McCabe have ushered in the new level of competency, integrity, honesty, transparency and trust to the FBI.

I constantly hear that 99% of FBI and policemen are really good people, but that it’s the 1% who gets all of the attention for their misdeeds. Then, you hear stories about FBI members taking bribes to look the other way when crimes are being committed, and there were stories about FBI agents leaking information to the press for booze, show tickets, etc. This story talked about one agent and as I recall the leaking story involved about a dozen agents. These are the ones who have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar-God only knows how many are breaking laws but have not been caught yet. Maybe it would be a good idea for all cops, local, state and Federal to take lie detection tests-what chance have we got if the cops are corrupt?
