A Teen Delivered A Baby With An Extremely Rare Condition, What The Baby Looks Like Today Will…

The world is full of strange illnesses people don’t know about, most people think that the only disease that exists are Hiv or maybe Malaria. They don’t know more strange diseases are in existence, diseases like Werewolf Syndrome, progeria, and many more.

Just like a strange case of a 4-year-old boy from Bangladesh named Bayezid Hossain who earned the nickname “real-life Benjamin Button,” after the Brad Pitt movie entitled “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

In the said Hollywood film, Pitt played the role of a man who ages backwards as he started life looking like an old dwarf and then returning back into a baby’s countenance before he died.

Hossain has a mind of a four-year-old but the looks of an 80-year-old senior citizen. He has a disease that ages the body at eight times the normal rate.

He has a swollen face, saggy skin, achy joints, and difficulties passing urine, reported The Daily Mail.

His 18-year-old mother, Tripti Khatun, said that he grew a full set of teeth when he was just three months old. But now at four, his teeth are already weak and broken, said the report.

Hossain suffers from progeria which causes rapid aging. Progeria patients typically don’t live past 13 years old. He also reportedly has a form of cutis laxa, a rare connective tissue disorder that causes the skin to hang loosely in folds.

Combined, the skin of such a patient can start getting loose like an elderly person months after birth.

Hossain understands his condition, but he doesn’t like talking about it. “He just cries when he feels awkward,” said his father, Lovelu Hossain, 22.

He doesn’t go to school because other children are afraid of him. When he was born, he became the talk of the village when neighbors heard about the birth of the abnormal child.

“I was terrified to see him when he was born. He was just flesh and bones. He looked like an alien and it was heartbreaking for me,” said Tripti.

People feared being close to Hossain and often gossiped about the couple’s capabilities as parents, as Tripti and Lovelu are first cousins, said the report. In rural parts of Bangladesh, it is not uncommon for cousins to marry.

But as time went by, neighbors slowly grew used to Bayezid’s presence and now fondly call him the ‘old man’.

According to AWM:

Although he looks different from his peers and is unlikely any child the doctors had ever seen, he is otherwise a normal boy. He may even be smarter than a lot of his classmates, proving that despite the abnormality, he has what it takes to stand out from the crowd and prove that he’s got a brain on top of his shoulders.

While Hossain might be different, he loves life and has a smart head on his shoulders. Don’t let his different appearance fool you into thinking otherwise. He’s just as deserving.
