Pentagon Gives Troubling Statistic About Americans Stuck In Afghanistan

The Biden Admin is proving again why they should not be leading this country. Reports say that thousands of Americans are stuck in Afghanistan and they are supposed to find their way to the Kabul Airport if they want out. But according to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, of the 2000 people that took flights out of the country Thursday, only 300 were Americans. I guess Biden cares more about the Afghan refugees than the American citizens he is supposed to be serving.

“Right off, we are processing people as fast as we can, and getting them onto their onward stations. It’s a balance and we are trying to strike that balance every single day,” Kirby explains.

“What proportion of the 2000 are American citizen vs SIV’s, what proportion are women as well?” A reporter asks.

“I don’t have a gender breakdown Jen, of the 2000, over the last 24 hours, nearly 300 were Americans, as well as family members,” Kirby replied.

Kirby was also asked how many Americans are left in Afghanistan to which he responded: “I don’t know.”

The reporter then pressed Kirby and he elaborated:

“I think as you probably know, first of all, the State Department would be a better place to go for an estimate of how many Americans are in Afghanistan or in and around Kabul. That is not a figure that the United States military would know, and I think you also know not every American citizen in another country that there’s no obligation that they register their presence. And that you can have a perfect accurate count.”

“But I don’t have that figure, and I’m referring to my State Department colleagues for the best estimate on that.”

How is it only 300 Americans evacuated in a 24 hour period when there are supposedly thousands in the country? Are they prioritizing Afghani refugees over Americans, or is it that Americans are getting stopped by The Taliban?

Normally we wouldn’t know how many Americans are in a country, but this is an evacuation and Americans are trying to find their way to the airport in Kabul to leave. You’d think they’d put together a system so Americans can check in and let them know they are there. But considering how chaotic and backward this whole evacuation is, it makes sense that they wouldn’t know a crucial detail like how many more Americans need help.
