BLM, Antifa, and just angry liberals have been protesting for months now. They have been wreaking havoc on cities across our great nation under the guise of peaceful protest. But the property damage, assaults, and looting tell a different story. Portland is no different they have are also still experiencing this liberal brand of peaceful assembly. This past Columbus Day rioters took to the streets tearing down statues. But instead of tearing down Christopher Columbus, the target of the unnecessary rage, they took down Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt, because somehow that makes sense…
“According to the Associated Press, the rioters assembled for “Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage,” referring to “Indigenous Peoples Day,” an alternative holiday to Columbus Day favored by progressive activists who accuse famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus of committing acts of genocide against Native Americans.”
“OregonLive reported that nearly 200 people made up the crowd marching through downtown Portland, most dressing in head-to-toe black and some wielding melee weapons. The organizers of the event prohibited video livestreaming and photographs of their criminal activity and harassed individuals who attempted to film. One apartment resident reportedly had lasers shined at his eyes and liquid thrown in his face for attempting to take video of the riot from his terrace.
The rioters defaced the statues with paint and used chains and a blowtorch to topple the monuments.”

This is ridiculous. Our culture has changed and there is no reason to attack important historical Americans just because those people were a product of their contemporary culture. Liberals forget that they would have likely had the same mentality as Lincoln or Roosevelt had they been born back then. This progressive movement has these Libs thinking that they are better than everyone because they are “woke.” But they are attacking people who made a difference far greater than their rioting or violence will ever amount to.
