This is just heartbreaking. The BlackLivesMatter and their rioters don’t seem to care about how many small businesses they destroy. Ironically, many of the businesses left in ruins in the wake of their destruction are black-owned. Just like this Minneapolis salon owner whose shop was set on fire following the death of George Floyd. Rather than help her rebuild her business, the city as scheduled her building to be torn down.
To make matters worse, they expect her to pay for it.
“I haven’t gotten anything, not a penny,” Flora Westbrooks, the owner of Flora’s Hair Designs, told “Fox & Friends” on Thursday after host Peter Doocy asked her how much aid she had received from the government.
How much could it be?
“[The] bill is going to be over $200,000 just for tearing things down and putting up a fence there, so it’s going to be lots of money that I can’t afford that I don’t have,” she said.
The city has determined that Westbrooks’ business was at risk of collapsing and tore the building down. City media relations manager Casper Hill said it was to ‘protect the public’. Westbrooks was not amused by the cities sudden interest in protecting the public. She questioned where the protection went whenever rioters were setting fire to her life’s work.

A Cry For Help:
Westbrooks also reacted on Thursday to President Trump’s visit to Kenosha, Wis., on Tuesday, where he got an up-close look at the damage caused by recent riots and announced $1 million to law enforcement. He also announced $4 million to support local businesses affected by the violence and $42 million to support public safety statewide.
“I wish the president would come [to Minneapolis] and bring his checkbook,” she said.
When asked what she would tell President Trump, Westbrooks said, “I would tell him that I need help.”
“I have been sitting here since May and I haven’t gotten any help at all,” she continued. “If he could, please Mr. President, could you please just come and do something for our business and my community, please, sir.”
Anything Else?
Westbrook set up a GoFundMe account to help her rebuild her business and hopes to cover the ridiculously expensive bill city officials have stiffed her with to tear down her destroyed livelihood. Her GoFundMe adds that “Flora has exhausted all of her energy and savings in building the community, creating jobs for entrepreneurs and aiding in generational wealth. Flora’s Hair Design has been in business from Afros to box braids and now needs your help to rebuild and make the community better. ”
For an organization supposedly dedicated in enrich black American’s lives BlackLivesMatter certainly knows how to destroy black business owner’s livelihood. Not to mention the countless elderly left stranded in riot-stricken areas without transportation and their shuttered or destroyed shops. It really seems like BLM has done more to destroy the communities they supposedly represent than anyone.
That could just be my opinion. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
