This protest has gotten out of hand. Protesters have burnt buildings down and looted numerous places, leaving many store owners scared for their businesses’ welfare. A Pennsylvania man decided he was not going to let his shop become another casualty of these protests, so he took matters into his own hands and stayed in his shop overnight. The looters never stood a chance.
“A 67-year-old South Philadelphia gun store owner shot and killed a man he said was looting his business for what he suspects is the second night in a row.
Greg Isabella, who owns the Firing Line Inc, one of the oldest gun shops in the city, said he saw a group of looters on his surveillance video breaking a padlock on his gate using bolt cutters and descending on his shop in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. when Isabella then confronted the thieves, and one — in a group of what he says consisted of 3 or 4 people– pointed a gun at him, according to reports by Fox affiliate WTFX.”

“One of the males pointed a gun at the owner, and that’s when the owner of the gun shop, who was in possession of one of his guns, fired several shots, striking the one male at least one time in the head,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
The looter shot in the head was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
“Police believe another man who was being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to the shoulder shortly after the incident was also involved, but investigators are working to confirm that, the station reports.
Nothing was stolen during the incident, but a large pair of bolt cutters was recovered at the scene, police said.”
“During a press conference Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Jim Kenney and Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said while they respect the rights of business owners to protect their property, they said they were disturbed to hear a business owner shot and killed a potential burglar. “We do not endorse or condone any form of vigilante justice or taking the law into one’s own hands,” Outlaw said. Kenney described himself as “deeply troubled” by the death.”
There is far too much looting and fires being set not to be concerned. How long would Isabella be out of work had he decided to just let his business be looted or burnt down? Is insurance going to cover him for all of the business he loses while he waited to rebuild his store or stock? Police are outnumbered and people are going to have to step up to keep their businesses safe. Not everyone can afford to take losses like Target.
Loot a gun store? What would they get? guns, ammo, tactical gear, etc., for the pieceful protests. Police wanted that on the street? Oh, I forgot that Democrat run cities would order the police to abandon their posts and let the outlaws run rampant on the citizens. All this with guns that had not passed background checks and no bills of sale.
If you intend to protect your livelihood, DO NOT GO PUBLIC WITH YOUR VIEWS. Do not make your views publicly known as a vindictive prosecutor will come after you, EVEN IF YOUR USE OF LETHAL FORCE IS JUSTIFIED.
The “thin blue line” and the associated court system hates when us mere mundane citizens exercise our right to self-defense, especially in liberal bastions such as “Killadelphia”.
If I had my way, all police departments would be either disbanded or run like fire departments where personnel stay in their buildings, only responding when called.
Mayor Jim Kenney and Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw, (appropriate name), will face the wrath of Patriots when elections come around. They ignore the Castle Doctrine, and a home/business owner will not. You have a right to “life, liberty, and happiness” and a tin god can’t take that away.
