Governor Northam has been patiently waiting to strike and take away the right of Virginians. He made comments about how he would get the National Guard to enforce a ban this past December. His comments led to an abnormally large showing at a second amendment rally and caused many counties to become Second Amendment Sanctuaries. But now during this pandemic, he decided to attack gun rights as he must have felt this was the time to strike.
“We lose too many Virginians to gun violence, and it is past time we took bold, meaningful action to make our communities safer,” said Governor Northam. “I was proud to work with legislators and advocates on these measures, and I am proud to sign them into law. These commonsense laws will save lives.”
More than 1,000 Virginians die from gun-related incidents each year. Governor Northam has been a fierce and consistent advocate for gun safety measures in the Commonwealth and following the tragic May 2019 mass shooting in Virginia Beach, he immediately called a special session of the General Assembly to address the gun violence emergency in Virginia.
Governor Northam signed these bills:
- Senate Bill 70 and House Bill 2 require background checks on all firearm sales in Virginia, which will prevent guns from ending up in dangerous hands.
- Senate Bill 240 and House Bill 674 establish an Extreme Risk Protective Order, which creates a legal mechanism for law enforcement to temporarily separate a person from their firearms when they represent a danger to themselves or others. Virginia is now among 19 other states and the District of Columbia in enacting this type of law.
- Senate Bill 69 and House Bill 812 reinstate Virginia’s one-handgun-a-month rule to help curtail stockpiling of firearms and trafficking.
- House Bill 9 requires gun owners to report their lost or stolen firearms to law enforcement within 48 hours or face a civil penalty.
- House Bill 1083 prevents children from accessing firearms by increasing the penalty for recklessly leaving firearms in their presence.”
“Democrats won control of Virginia’s legislature in November 2019 and, just days after their victory, Northam made clear there would be a war on guns. That war originally included all-out bans on certain categories of firearms, on ammunition magazines holding more than ten rounds, and on firearm suppressors. However, Democrats reformulated their push after facing widespread public backlash over their gun control agenda.”
And now with the guidelines that claim we should not have gatherings larger than 10, and the social distancing where we are supposed to keep 6 feet apart, how are Virginians going to protest this and the future bills that are likely coming down the pipeline?
It’s called a recall. that’s how you get rid of a Tyrant.
VA does not have a process to recall a governor. We do have an impeachment clause, but with both the House and Senate firmly in the hands of Democrats, the governors party, there is much chance for that to succeed. BUT he can only serve one consecutive term, so he will be replaced on Nov. 2 2021. Hopefully Virginia has learned their lesson and will NOT be voting Democrat again!

Pelosi indeed tried to add 1 billion for Planned Parenthood to the Covid19 relief bill, but she did not succeed. It was removed, along with other “Christmas in March for Democrat” spending grabs.
Virginia voters knew what Coonmans agenda was. Now they can be happy that the agenda is coming to fruition. You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before. Democrats are Democrats, Über Alles.
This is how you deal with this problem. 1. Identify all who voted yea on any of the ANTI-GUN bills just passed. 2. Gather enough (not to exceed 10) hardcore gun rights advocates and picket each of their homes also Governor sexual harasser, black face home. 3. Do it like the unions do during their strikes. I’m sure you have the idea. 4. Block the drive ways at the street curbs no in/out without delays etc. make it as nasty and troublesome as legally possible. Do it 24/7 and it won’t take that long for them to realize they are your employees and not your slave masters. You do pay taxes which pays their salaries. Don’t file and or pay your state taxes until the very last day, unless you’re getting money back file the very 1st day.
Think out side the box there are many legal means to an end. Get ACLU to sue the Governor and every yea voter for doing what our 2d amendment says they can’t do.

More lives are lost every year to other violence methods – knives, baseball bats, beatings. Why are they not looking at those and banning them? Also, there is planned parenthood, murderers row, that far outdistances any other methods of killings and yet some dumbocRATS love them. Why? Has the recall petitions begun or have the MSM just not reporting on them?
Five unconstitutional gun control bills are bad enough. But there is MUCH MORE! He also signed bills that reversed all of Virginia’s very reasonable rules protecting women who were having abortions. Northam signed bills that allow physician assistants to perform abortions, allows abortions to be performed in almost any setting and abortions performed in the third trimester no longer require the signature of two doctors verifying that the life of the mother is at risk. AND MORE! He reversed VA’s long standing photo ID voter laws, made election day a state holiday, expanded early voting to 45 days, extended the hours polling places must remain open AND granted automatic voter registration to ANYONE who accessed ANY service at the DMV. AND MORE! This week he is signing a bill that allows undocumented aliens to pay in state tuition if they claim to have lived in VA for the past two years. If they are minors, their parents must have paid taxes in VA. And undocumented aliens will be allowed access to state grants and loans to cover their college tuition, meaning our children will be fighting for tuition money against people in our country illegally! Take one guess as to who will win THAT fight! And this is far from the end of what this governor has done in the last weeks!
